1-1/4"? Big difference! Who'd a thought!
« on: September 19, 2015, 07:44:21 AM »
Late in my 5th season with the Norge I broke and installed the Moto International bar risers. Pricey for sure. Have had bar risers on several bikes before this. Install was easy except the holes did not line up perfectly so a drill press was enlisted to make the holes a size larger. Same on both sides. The result is dramatic for me. Just right. :thumb:

Stay safe, John

Working on old houses tells me that 1 1/4 " makes a substantial difference

I too was amazed when I fitted Helibars to the Breva 1100: no more aching wrists, just hours of riding pleasure.  In fact, it felt like a different bike, and in a good way: as though I was sitting in rather than on the bike.

I installed Goldwing foot pegs along with a Euro side stand a while ago. They are 3/4" lower and yes they helped also. It's pretty comfy now :thumb:.

I've been wanting to get a set of Ulysses pegs for my R100R to get my feet a little lower.
Do you have a link for a good source of them?

Sorry,I got mine years ago and they are the first thing that come off any bike I sell that they are installed on.  :thumb:

Maybe EBAY or some other forums...ZRX,FZ1,ETC.

I see them pop up time to time.

Harley stores were running out of them when I got mine...Alan

I've got 1 1/2 "risers with the Mana bars with 1800 Godwin pegs. Works for me on the 1100 Breva.
