...and we got a couple more in the night. Where I am we get more by a few inches due to elevation. We will start digging out after coffee. Nope, still have not ridden this year...at least a couple more weeks after this...

Here in central RI (ride 30 miles in any direction and you're out of the state) we got a disappointing 10 inches or so of very wet slush, just enough to be annoying but not enough to disrupt anything important.  This is the first year I've managed to ride every month, almost 300 miles so far in 2017.

18" here, southern Maine coast. Not too wet or heavy but a pita just the same. Get to go back out on the cross country skis at least. The foercast calls for another 8 inches this weekend and more middle of next week.  In like a lamb out like a lion. Ok southerners , rub it in please.  :bike-037:

We didn't even get 2 Italian inches. I'm not complaining though.

Just the threat of it was enough for a rare snow day for Jenn (she had clinic hours scheduled yesterday instead of time in the ICU so Monday afternoon they called all her expected Tuesday patients to reschedule them for another day).

We got to spend the day just hanging with the kids and some neighbors.

We've got about 18" and 5-9" more is coming.  winds 15-20mph.  Nobody's out on the roads.
Have ridden the dirt bikes a few brief times, no Guzzi time.

1 1/2 to 2 feet here with 3+ foot drifts, 5 if you count what the plows left at the entrance to our driveway.

I don't know how much snow we have here, but with all the melting and freezing going on, the road surfaces are self destructing.

Around Chicago we got 6+ inches and a couple of nasty cold days, but snow is already mostly melted even though temps barely above 30.  Had a couple of unexpected weeks of nice riding here in February, but for now the Jackal is on the charger again until the salt is off the roads.
