Carrying lumber on your bike

I stumbled on this pic today on the internet.
Always wondered if I could bring lumber home on my bike. Now I have ideas.
Isn't this an EV? Broken turn signal stalks even.
This any of you guys?

He could at least put a flag at the end of it and it would double as a safety/visibility device.

He'd be jousting with oncoming traffic if he was in a sport bike position.
Too cheap to buy gas for his friend with a pickup (extra Guzzi content)
