Your best bet is sealing up the stock wheels, with RTV sealer, to make them tubeless. I have done 2 Guzzis that way, my 73 eldorado, and a 2003 Cali aluminum. No problems, and much better than dealing with tubes.Rick.
Im not sure on the jackal wheels. I am pretty sure my eldorado s borrani rims are not designed for tubeless, but I have run tubeless on it without any issues. The beads "pop" into place nice and tight, and require a fair amount of pressure to un seat the beads again. Same thing for the chromed steel wheels on the aluminum.Rick.
would you happen to know if the jackal rims have the safety rim to work with the tubeless tire?
Rick, since at least the 1990s, all DOT approved motorcycle wheels have had the safety bead.
I personally would rather have tubes and rims with safety humps, than old style tubeless wheels and no safety hump.
