The 851 is on the top of my list of Ducati's I'd love to own. This will be to pricey for me.

How do you keep a bike for almost 30 years and only have a little over 444 miles on the clock? I’m not saying it isn’t legit but it’s just a head scratcher.

I think the last one, with no miles went for about 6500ish, and was listed as a project. However, that one was not stored properly.

I think this may hit $10,000.

I'd love to add an 851 or 888 to the stable someday to keep my Superlight company!  I think they're one of the most beautiful Duc's made....along with the 916

I think that the design of the 900 SS/SP is timeless. One of the few machines, that looks better with the full fairing, than the quarter faired CR model.

Surely you're referring to a 748 as the other!  I'd like to have one of these as well with a big bore kit and black wheels...always liked the looks of the #7 Chili bike!

I should rephrase that to say  "looks perfect in yellow".  I prefer the 748 in red.  The other yellow bike I like is this one. (this is not mine)

Agreed that the Ducati 900 is a classic beauty. I think one of the most beautiful bikes ever made.

But with all due respect, the quarter faired CR model looks vastly better than the (beautiful) full faired version.

I like my 1000SS a lot aesthetically. Go's quite well to. I always wanted a red one but now I'm glad I have yellow. Red is so common and doesn't seem to age as well.

Ciao
