Consider it spread, Todd.  Strangely enough, I had a dream about the Ky. rally (well, sort of) last night.
At any rate, it's a good time, folks.

It's on the calendar again this year.  Always a good time, always see a lot of friends, always really good food.  What's not to like about that??

Ride safe out there.

If work, weather, and gear come together I am going to try and make it this year.  When do I have to commit one way or the other?

Are you going to be there?

Funny you mention marriage. Not much commitment in marriage these days.

Hey Chuck, save some space next to your secret spot, will arrive Friday.

Tom,

I called the campground yesterday to confirm my reservation for that camping spot (Site #4) for next weekend.  I reserved it several months ago when I was making out my Riding Calendar for this year.  I like it because it's closer to the facilities but it is small and somewhat sloped.

Angie confirmed everything but said they had quite a bit of rain a few weeks ago (much of Eastern KY was really flooded) and the river came up to the edges of that site.  Sooo, long story short, I don't know what that area is going to look like.  It's mostly clay so it may be mushy mud.  My plan is to arrive on Thursday afternoon and get set up.

Hey Chuck, look forward to seeing you next week. I'm going to go down to the camp ground tomorrow. I'll take a look at your site and report back. I bet it will be fine. Dry weather here for the next 8 to 10 days..

Wow KS,

Nice picture from last year.  It's a nice location for me...close to the facilities...and normally quiet except when the RV people just above are pulling a party "all-nighter".  That normally happens on Friday night.

FYI, there is another remote site, maybe two, further up the hill that may have more options for hammock sleeping.  Since I'm not a hammock user, I look at things differently.

Have a good weekend and ride safe to KY next week.
