Well, the season ended back in May. Better get some pie in the next couple years, global warming's gonna push the source away!

.... because you'd need so many of those furry little flippers to make a decent pie?   And skinning the flipper, what a pain ....

Nope, this whole thing sounds like a painful idea for pinnipeds everywhere ....

I can't speak for the right-coast cannuks, but on this end of the continent we can have either seal flipper pie OR seal flipper sandi's.  There is no option for combining the two -- wouldn't be proper.

Something seems improper about either

Asssuming that's not code for something else entirely,      you should have no problem with a properly tenderized 'London broil' cut of pinnipedped*.   :food:

*Noting that I never heard of such a thing until just now, doubt it's a tradition out here, and in no way endorse the clubbing of cuddly white seal pups for this purpose.  Offer void in the lower 48, its employees and subsidiaries.  Must be 18 to play.

Seal flipper pie?

Isn't that some kind of a traditional seafood dish that used to be served on Navy vessels during gentle rolling seas?

Along with tossed salad. :lipsrsealed:

Flipper pie, I think I just found the best forum ever. Never thought I'd see Guzzi and Flipper pie in the same place. I've died and gone to heaven. Two of my favourite things. Although baked with a duff is the best.

As long as you don't claim to like Rappie Pie - that wallpaper paste is awful!
