Virginia Guzzi Rally - June 26th-28th, 2015
« on: March 30, 2015, 01:59:54 PM »
It's our 33rd annual Virginia Guzzi rally! Time is streaking by and June 26Th-28Th will be on us before we know it. I hope many of y'all are planning on being there. Last year we had a good turn-out &  a great time, in spite of dealing with a new location etc. Kudos to Kurt & Sue Nordstrom and all who stepped up to help.
For info on the rally check out "www(dot)vaguzzi(dot)com" For more info, to download a registration form, see pictures of this year's tshirt etc. got to "http://jfritzius(dot)com/vamotoguzzi"
I hope to see many wildguzzi friends there.
Ronkom

Already registered and on my calendar...

I can't remember if I've registered for this year or not .... the checks don't get cashed till closer to the time so I can't look at the bank statement and I'm terrible about remembering ... I'll have to send a note to Kurt and Sue.

I'll be there again. Not sure which bike. MZ? Elefant? Hoping to ride the "loop" (Mt. Rogers, Burke's Garden, Tazewell, etc.) afterwards that I had planned and didn't get to do last year.

No it does not. Only Rocker can do that (or any other moderators), and he'll usually do it a month before the event.

At the SWVA Guzzi lunch Saturday Kurt said he'd only received 4 registrations so far. All around the table hung our heads because none had taken the time to get it done (including me). Kurt is a bit of a worrier, so I'll get ours in this week. I hope some others follow suit, Kurt doesn't have much hair left to pull out
Thanks,
Ronkom

Ron,
is there a reason why this rally is not on the MGNOC rally list?

Ron, you remember last year, how many reservations came in the last couple of weeks, and it turned out to be the largest VA rally in years, maybe ever? I'm sure folks will begin signing up at a faster pace soon.

I had the same question.  There is an advertisement in this months news letter, with all the info, but, nothing listed on the rally calendar.   ???

Well, I'm going to have to make a point of going to this one. It's less than two hours ride from here so I have no excuse not to.
I don't know if I will have my Norge here from Seattle yet so I may be on the Triumph Scramblinator instead but I will be sure to wear Guzzi logo emblazoned clothing.

Check going out on Monday!

If rallies would take PayPal, money could come easier and more efficiently.  But I'll rummage around and find a checkbook (it's there somewhere), write it by hand, write out an envelope, find a stamp, and put it in the mailbox. I promise, Ron & Kurt!

That's me, too.  I'll have to blow the dust off the checkbook - I probably don't write 5 checks a year anymore.    Feels like sending a draft on my London correspondent for supplies for the plantation when the next ship is leaving Europe for Richmond ....

The cutoff date for saving $10.00 by preregistering is May 17th. Coming up in the blink of an eye. I really do think time is accelerating....... .or is that just getting OLD?
