Good deal on Shell Rotella T6 5W-40

From Amazon or Jet after MIR. Can also be purchased locally at Walmart.

I use this oil or Rotell T4 dino in my Jackal, EV and Suzuki S40. It has 1200ppm zinc for the tappets.

Switched over to Rotella from Mobile 1. I Think mobil 1 has lost it direction with how their marketing too many oils.

Twenty internal combustion engines on my place, and not one of them specifies 5W-40.    Guess I'm just out of luck .....

I use it primarily because it is one of the few oils that still have a high enough level of zinc.
I don't like screwing around putting additives in my oil.
Putting moly in my rear drive is enough for me.

Years ago I found a well aged, although plastic, bottle of Motul gear oil in an old Guzzi-bmw shop. It was free. Imagine why? I broke the seal and poured the contents into a jar. The bottle remained pendulous. I cut it open. All?the molybdenum? was in a hard to move thick paste. I've also seen what first looked like many, many fine mercury droplets in transmission and final drive gear oil, plus filets in tight corners of castings and bearing cages. Looks like overdosing Moly to me.  R3~ 
I ran Shell Rotella in my diesels, for years. At the time Shell Oil had a lab testing used engine & gear oil. Trust is always gratifying. Ferrari had their own reasons, I suppose.
