When I was in the Army I had a night and weekend job in a motorcycle rental shop, We had 305 and 160 Hondas. The 160 inventory got low because they were always going down due to inexperienced riders missing shifts and bending valves. We eventually replaced them with 175`s and that problem went away. The new problem was the selenium rectifier shorting out  burning up the wiring harness and the speedo cable.

My first bike was a CB175 1970. I'll like to know the speed tricks for those 160's.  And how they did it without a supply of aftermarket etc.
