High oil level / V7 850 E5

Hello; I just got my V7 850 back from its first service; Oil in the site glass is to the top of the sight glass will this be all right or should I drain some through fill cap? Thanks John

If you checked it by the Guzzi recommendation then it should be fine.

If it’s like the V85’s sight glass there’s a “full” and “low” mark.  Make sure the bike is on BOTH wheels, upright, and on a flat surface.  You’ll get different level readings when on the center stand, and of course the side stand. 

After a couple thousand miles my V85 eventually self-levels off at the “mid” point.  I have no clue where the oil is going.  Not in air box (like my former V7), or doesn’t appear to be burning it.
