Hallo
I am new here and very new to Moto Guzzi. I bougt my V7II Special late last year and had just a few runs with it before the winter season.
To be honest was I not that impressed. The cold start issues, strange understeer and overall jerkiness was...well just what I expected. But it in the same time beautiful and likable.
I decided to tackle all the issues and The perfect time for this in Sweden are the winter.
I'll started with new shocks from K-tech and a cartridge kit from Matris. I also contacted Mark at griso.org and got a Beetle map. I also pushed up the fork legs 8mm and bougt new Michelin Classic tyres. This along with several visual upgrades like fork bellows, lower bar, sport hump seat, cutted fender, new tail light and blinkers.
This transformed the V7 completley. The steering are after some adjustments Pin sharp and turns almost like a MotoGP bike. The fuelling issues are gone and The bike are now just as fun to ride as it s beautiful.
I can strongly recomend all these upgrades.. fantastic.

That is a great list of upgrades! A map from Beetle, and Progressive rear shocks were both worthy upgrades on my V7. I imagine those K-techs are even better.

That's a beautiful bike! What was the cartridge kit install like? Piece of cake, Nightmarish Celebration Of Special Tools, or somewhere in between?

Wow, you've ridden a MotoGP bike? What was that like? The bike looks way better than stock, especially the seat.
Ciao
