I predict you’ll get big money for that beauty!
That is a very nice loop. I hope that you and BaT can come to a mutually agreed reserve.
Not looking like it. I approved the listing, but now they are saying I cant have a reserve... "Your vehicle was accepted and approved on condition as a no-reserve auction and cant be changed to a reserve price auction"I guess a bike not hitting reserve is a major deal for them. If you think about it, a no-sale for failure to hit reserve would be terrible for them. They have worked many man hours on my auction and would only net $99 listing feeif the bike didnt sell.Oh well, the process rolls on..... Lets see how quickly it goes live at this point.
It's live boys!https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-moto-guzzi-ambassador-750-5/.....But we will see how it goes. it got two bids all the way up to $6,600 in the first 15min, so I think it's going to be ok! ......
Curious about the "Greg Bender luggage rack". I wasn't aware that Greg sold one.
What's the starting price? If the start price is the same as what you'd have had as a reserve, it would be a moot point. I can't remember if they start at zero or if it depends on the item.-AJ
I like all the details in the listing; looking at all those receipts is painful but any buyer that's seriously in the game with a thick wallet, will appreciate just how expensive it is to get a bike finished up to this level.Great attention to the small fine details that make for a great restoration. It's obvious that you made decisions through the build, guided by what was best for the bike, not necessarily your wallet.Glad to see you jump in with details as an engaged owner, builder, seller. Sets a good tone for the auctionSending positive thoughts your way. I'll be following this one extremely closely. ps I hope you sleep well for the next 7 days
