I had an ad in the classifieds but didn't have any luck. Thought I would try here because how many people really look at the wanted ads? ???
Looking to turn and 850T single disc into a dual. Need a wheel from a T3, G5, Convert or similar. Actually I don't even need the whole wheel but might just be easier that way for the seller. Anybody have one available?
Thanks

You don't need a wheel, nor even a hub. Just longer through-bolts and maybe a different axle spacer.
-
can you show a pic of the disc you have? I'll then see if I have a matching one..

You're right. I dont need the rim or hub but I need the bearing / disc carrier, spacer, at least 1 disc but would take 2. Also need longer bolts but will use new ones anyway. Was thinking it might be easier for someone selling to just part with a whole wheel instead of being left with a rim laced to a hub.
I can get you pics foto but current wheel is totally disassembled. Maybe I have a before pic or can find one on the net.

Not mine but found these. Pretty much the same as a dual disc. Fairly straight forward conversion with the right parts.

If your current wheel is good you just need a custom spacer and longer bolts. Bob Nolan made one for my '75 Eldo but I went back to one disk with upgraded brake hardware. Not a complicated piece, it looked like a squared off aluminum doughnut.

Sorry, the one I had in mind turned out to be a rear disc down in the bottom of a drawer in my shop.

You may not need anything except the disc, bolts and caliper. I've seen some T wheels with the correct spacer on the side with no disc. Take a close look at what you have, if it's identical to the disc side you're GTG. No need to make a spacer as in the Eldorado dual disc mentioned earlier, Eldorado's forks are 20mm wider than Tonti.

No luck on that Joe.
