Well, I reset it to 0 today, BIG difference. Still pretty Jerky just off throttle sometimes a little rough rolling off throttle, but definately ridable. Now I feel like it just fine tuning (famous last words) I'm very happy with the result.
Yesterday I spent four hours trying to get guzzidiag to open on pc. Today I used it successfully.
I'd say that call for a drink!

Thanks guys for the help (of course I'm not finished with you lot yet.

It is a VII Sport, it's not not a bike for riding in traffic but let it loose on the open road and its hard to compare.
The gearbox on mine was silky smooth, more than once I was told it was the best sounding bike they had ever heard.

I looked at it last night, couldn't see how to adjust it. This problem is new to this week's tune up.

Should be push/pull on throttle, adjuster under rubber on ea cable by metal curve by grip.
