What is the best rear shock setting for a V711?
« on: November 13, 2016, 02:20:32 PM »
There is a lot of useful stuff on this forum about the rear shocks on the V711. I haven't yet been persuaded to upgrade, but I have moved the setting all over the place - firm, middling, soft and everywhere in between.

Can I do any harm to the bike by having them at their lowest setting (softest) all the time? I don't ride two up, but I'm not exactly, er, svelte. What to other riders do?

As a bike, I love it. The V7111 will tempt me when it is available.

No, as long as the shocks don't bottom out some times.
