« on: June 15, 2015, 02:28:34 PM »
Are there any highway pegs that fit a 2012 V7C?

I've never seen an off the shelf option, though I would think you could probably find something to hang off an HB crash bar.

yeah, I was thinking the same thing Kev.

Attach an MG crash bar ($75) that wraps around the heads and attach any generic foot peg you like to it, they just clamp on to any round stock.
You can buy style, but you have to build character.

…and two step-through scooters too.

But I would think the wrap around ones would offer mounting points too fifth high and too close to the rider.

I mentioned HB because they are more toward the front of the bike, giving a little more room to stretch out.

Assuming you can mount the pegs so they are far enough outward.

Actually, my frame sliders are mounted in almost the perfect place, to the mounting point where the upper and lower frame down tubes bolt together. If they were wider they'd probably make decent highway pegs.

I have the crash bars from AF!, agree too close to fit pegs. Something frame mounted or has a loop under the alternator maybe? This is a problem with a bike / brand that is not too well known or plentiful unlike most Japanese bikes. I have less trouble getting parts, accessories for my 1976 Suzuki GT500 2 stroke twin!
