You know what I hate ?

There's used to be a comedian here in Oz called Rodney Rude.
He mostly pedalled toilet humour, but was funny in a superficial, crass sort of way. Anyway he used to start his routines with the quote " Ya' know what I hate ?" Then start on an expletive filled tirade about what had "upset" him. Well here's a few and I invite others to add some.

I hate it when some well intentioned member of the general public approaches you un invited and suggests that you should "give up motorbikes" because "I knew a bloke once who fell off one and broke his arm..."

I hate it when you stop on ground that's a bit soft for your sidestand and you don't want to move away from the bike to reach the piece of flat wood 10' away to put underneath to stop it sinking, so you try to push the fully loaded bike toward the bit of wood and your feet slip on the mud and you crash on your guts with the bike landing on you, jamming your boot so you can't get out and have to wait for rescue.

I hate it when you're following a car, quite happy to sit at the speed limit behind them and they swerve into the gravel and apply the brakes, while waving you past, because they can "see that it's safe...!"

I hate it when you're touring somewhere and you can see that there might be a short rain shower ahead but you're sure that there's warm weather to follow.
Sure enough, you hit the rain and it lasts long enough to soak you to the arse (and the nether regions), so by the time you realise the "warm weather to follow" has turned to crap, there's no point stopping to put on the gear, because you're already soaked..!

I really hate it when I rip my hangnails putting on my gloves and the blood sticks the gloves to my fingertips.

I really hate it when the road surface changes and I think my wheel bearings are coming unglued.  And then by the time I get used to it, the road changes into something else.  And tar snakes.

But what I mostly hate is coming around a hairpin at a good lean and washing out from a pile of bearshit.  Lowside or highside, it's gonna stink.

I hate it when people, (either bikes or cars), block a fuel pump while the person goes inside, pays for the gas, food, lottery tickets, uses the rest room, all while leaving their vehicle blocking the pump. Get your gas and move the vehicle! Then go in an do whatever you want for as long as you want!

Along that same line, people using the ATM at the drive up at the bank. If you have 15 minutes worth of transactions to complete, go when it is not busy, or better yet, go inside! Same with a fast food drive through. You would think these people went there for the first time. Just about everyone who visits one knows what the menu is. Is it really that hard to make up your mind? (I understand a parent with kids, BTW.)

Punctuality: If you tell someone you're going to be some place at a certain time, be there. There is of course reasonable wiggle room, (a few minutes past), but when it drags out into half an hour or an hour it gets frustrating.

I dislike shitty supply chains, and long wait times for parts.

I dislike divisive and cliquey brand & "scene" loyalty, built with some weird notion of superiority.

I dislike working for a living. I'm sick of it, to be honest.

But hate? I save that for when it's needed.

I hate* it when someone stops to let you turn when they are literally the only car you're waiting for.  As in no one behind them.  Had they just kept going, there'd be no need to have a chat via hand signals in an effort to rewrite the rules of the road.  In the end, I'd have been able to turn sooner.

I don't favor skunks on the road. smelly, real smelly.
Then there's wet cattle grates with anti freeze on them. when they are on a corner its good practice otherwise not good.
Diesel fuel and anti freeze at intersections. 
Deer should be exterminated in large numbers.

Some painful things get easier the more they happen. hit your finger with a hammer, lose your favorite fishing lure, a dent in your truck.
But losing your best buddy, one you have seen go from nutball, to a trusted friend, one who could read your feelings and comfort you with just a look, only gets harder.
If only we could all go with our best friends, no one would have to suffer with the sorrow.
rescue a homeless companion. one who may have been neglected, mistreated, not appreciated.
believe me, they will show you their thanks every day.
