With all the Facebook privacy 'scandals' happening, and Mr. Zuckerberg currently getting raked over the coals, I've had a bunch of emails today wondering about privacy here. Some of the biggest concerns expressed are:
- Can you or the moderators read my private messages? No. We couldn't if we wanted to.
- Do you sell any user data to advertising companies? No. There's nothing to sell anyways.
- How can we be sure that our browsing habits are being kept secret? You can't. But your information will not show up on other sites as a result of visiting this site. I can guarantee you that. If you want to hide what you're doing online from your spouse or the government, you'd better quit browsing right now and move into the woods.
Nobody takes privacy and security more seriously than I do. I guarantee you that. With 22+ years in IT and the livelihood of myself and my family depending on that type of security, I can say that with 100% certainty.
Now, back to talking motorsickles. You're safe here. :thumb: :bike-037:
