Title: Bearings for Convert front wheel with spokes
Post by: jwinwi on March 30, 2019, 12:16:34 PM
Knocked the old bearings out of the aluminum carriers before noting the depth each bearing sat in its carrier... Seems to me that the RH bearing must be completely seated in the carrier so the circlip can be installed. BUT the LH bearing goes in just far enough so the top is flush with lip on the carrier, right? Thanks in advance.

Yes, one bearing "floats".

Thank you Charlie! Tried to put the carriers and bearing spacer back on the wheel but the spacer seems too long... Bearings were removed in the fall.
