Post by: LowRyter on September 03, 2016, 09:46:46 AM
Another wet one.

Better than most races.

They were all on the edge several past it.

Missed this but read about it.   Race is supposed to be dry tomorrow after a wet qualifying so that could be interesting. I won't be able to watch the race `til tomorrow evening.  Crutchlow on Pole.

Well, I'm a Ducati fan but my hat is off to Mr. Crutchlow!

No Nicky there, but Alex Lowe is filling in for Pol Espargaro.

Yeah, apparently Nicky was there to maybe replace Jack Miller? Whom he didn't.

The race was something to watch.  It had to be restarted as some riders collided & Loris Baz got hurt on the 1st lap.  On the restart the same race leader pulled away and left about 5 riders fighting amongst each other the rest of the race for 2nd,3rd positions on the podium.  It was a Battle Royale !!   :boozing:  take no prisoners!  Great Entertainment!   :copcar:   In the end no one else got hurt but some guys feelings.

The race will be on again this evening.  Don't miss it.  :thumb:

From 2nd place on down, it was a very exciting race!  Looked like the boys were having a lot of fun banging on each other...congrats to Maverick who was in a completely different race and to Cal who grabbed a 2nd place podium spot with some nifty passing...hope the two guys who crashed on Lap 1 are okay...

Wonder if we are seeing a changing of the guard ? 2 races in a row with first time winners .

Supposedly quirky, except for Cal finishing 2nd today.

Last week was rain with Crutchlow making the best tire choice and winning.

And today is was exceptionally cold that has favored the Suzuki during testing days.

Maverick is a phenom rider and has lots of upside and will be Valle's team mate next season.  Crutchlow might've proved something by following last week's win with a 2nd.
