I too thought the Honda Ruined was pretty grotesque! Of course, I didn't tell that to the manager of a hotel I stayed at that owned two of them!

They made more than one?

I always thought these were among the worst.  Unlike some "ugly" things that over time may gain some charm, this thing still looks bad and always will.

Well, at one time I really wanted one of those.  But only in black/silver.  The yellow is awful.  Aways thought it had a mechanical Borg "You will be assimilated" look to it.  Not pretty but intimidating.

When I said the Arlen Ness Vision was ugly, I didn't mean all Visions.

I almost bought a new 2010 blue Vision, I still like it.

Currently riding a 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT Adventure  and a 2022 Kawasaki W800.

Actually I was looking for a gray one because the yellow wasn't ugly enough.

Plenty of ugly ones to choose from, the Bimota Mantra comes to mind, as well as the Suzuki Madura mentioned earlier.  A lot of BMWs of the last 25 years are also hideous.

The nice ones are better at the end of a post, a couple of my favorites are the G50 Matchless and the black/gold Ducati 900SS.

This is one pretty bike !  The Guzzi Roamer  with the seat the factory should have put on it if they wanted to sell them  ,

I try not to look at the "UGLY" ones  , but a lot of those "sport" bikes with those stupid jacked up rear fenders would fit into that slot .   Yea I know they can be really fast but do they have to be so ugly ?

 Tazio is slipping .

Pretty ; Brough Superior SS 100 , almost every Triumph twin from the 1938 Speed Twin thru the 1970 model year, the slightly post war R 51 beemer ,most loops , Peal White Bassas , and the 916 Ducati series

Ugly , the one that always stands out was The Amazonas and those weird Confederate thingies .

 Dusty
Almost 900,000 in a little over 8 years in two .

RIP Mike Prentice

I liked my Matchless G80 and Honda 400 for looks.  Side view pictures on the walkway mean they were marked  for liquidation.  Buying for looks is like dating for looks - high turnover.

honest, I'm not even trying to pander to the locals...

as mentioned previously....being able to see the engine is endearing in my view

as for ugly, difficult to add anything to what's been shared.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think the Moto Morini Excalibur was even more homely. I blame the Castiglionis for both of them.

Always thought that this was ugly (had one, '81 GS1100) but looking at it now...perhaps the term "unfortunate classic" fits, in a square headlight Wrangler sort of way....

I have to disagree Leroy. I think the early square headlight DOHC Suzuki 750 and 1100 are very pretty. Put a classic Kerker on that 1100 and I would love to own it.

I had one of those tanks on my much modified G3L road bike.  Just over 7 Imperial gallons.  She went a loooooong way on a tank of gas.  Depending on how I rode it 500-600 miles.  Hurt when I filled it up.
