No, I just saying if you can avoid that weekend, you're likely to get a better turn out.  IL is usually one of the larger rallies in the US, and since it's relatively close to KS, seems like a good idea to pick the 2nd or 4th weekend, all other things being equal, which I'm sure they are not!

OK folks , I've been on the phone with the mayor of Cedar Vale (yes , we have her cell #) There are 3 houses available for rental over the weekend , the motel will work with us , AND , there is a rancher just outside of town with a bunkhouse that will work with us . So , that should eliminate any concerns about lodging . The town will open the pool house which is next to the park for added restrooms .

 Dusty

And there's an RV park & cabin rentals just up the road in historic Sedan, for anyone looking for that sort of thing. http://www.bucksbbqsedan.com/lodging-and-rv-park.html
Then again, when I was watching Predator I didn't think two members of its cast would become governors, either. So you never know.

Dusty, at the National in Salida CO, showers were available at the local high school gym. Would that be a possibility if neccessary?

Uh ok...big difference between 30 people and and a 100 or more though!  Just sayin...you don't want piles of poop between the tent sites!

We had 60 this year , and with some of these guys pooping on the ground is inevitable

You have implied that we will supply the basics.  Should I infer that this will be a plush, multiply, luxurious chamomile-scented high-end product or the usual arse sandpaper.  How about springing for some Dude Wipes for that extra fresh feeling.

Let's see...  Guzzi's and campfire stories in Kansas, instead of drugs and music in New York, but the rest is just like Woodstock.  Dusty will be right at home!
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Dusty,
A rally suggestion is to have wrist bands so you know who the paying members are and the free loaders that just want to come in, use the facility, drink coffee, etc and not pay. Maybe that is why some ride in Cadillacs and I have a 77 GMC. I'd ride a mule before I'd cheat the organizers out of a rally fee.
