Tire Mileage

Scott of the Sahara:
Time to change the tires on my trusty Norge. Last time I did this was 5 years ago.
I looked at the miles and I am pretty happy with the wear.
Rear = 15,259 miles
Front = 14,259 miles
I just finished a 1200 mile road trip, I wanted the new tires on before the trip but they did not come in.
The tires are Dunlop Road Smart 3.

would you mind telling me what part of the country you live in?  in the cincinnati area, i barely got 6,000 on any of my sport touring bikes, BMWs mostly about the same weight as the norge.  i get about 9,000 on my v85 and am extatic about that.

yogidozer:
WOW! That's great!
I'll be checking them out for my '95 Spot. Thanks for the heads up :thumb:

Gliderjohn:
