Gasoline - still short supply

Yesterday I did a little recon of gas stations here in/around town. 13 gas station and 10 were out of fuel. One station that had fuel was delivered only 2500 gallons and the manager said they would be out within a couple hours from the time that I had checked.
 There is no premium to be had around here.
 I talked with a couple guys, some ride Harley’s, some ride sport bikes, and asked where they are getting gas. They said octane booster. On a whim I checked two of the auto parts stores and no octane booster. The guy at the counter said “ we had a run on that lately.”

The Guzzilla sits. No riding for me.

Gas is plentiful around here.  DC and some of the bigger cities in NC still have shortages, so I hear.

There is no non-ethanol that i can find in the Chattanooga or north georgia areas that i have checked so far.  I need non-ethanol for mowers, boat motor etc.

Go to an Ingles, the one here has all but diesel.

My current location is Covington, Georgia.

I did see two tanker trucks in town today so things may be getting better.

If your in Union County GA (where Suches is) the only pumps that ever had ethanol free were at Hughes on Murphy Hwy (US 129). I believe it's been rebadged Valero.

I've put over 800 miles on in N Ga, Tn, and NC this week and never had a problem.
The little Sunoco station just left of the T intersection on HWY 60 1/2 hour N of Suches has a pump for nonethanol but I've not tried to buy it there. The Freddy's Valeo in Gainesville on HWY 53 has had it all week at $359.

This!  I drove my truck all over Sequatchie County looking for 90 octane or higher Non-ethanol.  No luck.  Several stations sell it, but all were out.  Ended up buying 87 non-ethanol for the V11 and adding a gallon of E10 premium.  See you Saturday!

The Piedmont area, central NC is wide open. All big stations are full service but the Mom and pop independent stations are still out 👍

Thanks wavedog...It appears to be an exclusively "East Coast" thing right now...but the prices here out West are going up these days!

Currently riding in the Western NC Mountains. Maggie Valley, Hot Springs, Brevard, Waynesville. Still very spotty but getting better slowly it seems. Surprised it's taking so long to get back up to speed.
