Bright N Shiny Things
« on: May 19, 2022, 09:01:00 PM »
Just got my parts for the Convert back from the Paint Shop.

I decided to wait on the stripes till the bike is back together. Thinking a simple double silver (one thick one thin) in a single line on the tank flowing to side covers, then bags. May also paint the top crosshatch section of the saddle bag covers black with something tough and textured, but not definite. Paint isn't Concours, but is lightyears better than it was and I'm really liking the red, as does Mrs Bulldog.

I have a full seat and is easy to swap it for the solo. Need to install the SS brake lines and a few other things while apart. Can't wait to get them on and get back on the Convert later this summer.

**Charlie, I'll be back in VA in June and will swing by your place for the rear SS fender if you still have it.

Gratuitous shot of the Stornello so it doesn't get jealous.

Great color. Are you going with black or chrome colored louvers Bulldog?

Black. I have new emblems, but am re-using the old louvers.

I'm jealous of those DB bags. I should have tried to find some when I had my Convert.

Well you’ve done it now… those DB bags will think they’re fast, now all red like that. Worth 5-10 more horsepower with all that red!

Love it!
