Back before having a huge azz was cool, (don't worry if you don't know what I mean it has to do with pop culture, and you're likely to old to get the vague reference) ,I miss the old dude.  I liked him, but never meet him, seemed like a good guy at heart, but suffered from a traumatic brain injury that degraded his ability to self censor.  He had a Mz and a Mg.  Anybody from the old days know what become of him?

This guy?  http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1134

And shockingly enough, most of the first page is responses to an oil thread!

Randy from Norcal left here in a huff years ago. Last I heard he was living in AZ. He and I didn't agree on much of anything but he was a good guy if you met him in person and not on a forum.

Randy is quite the character. A lot of fun at rallies. Argued with him at many a western rally.
Last I heard, he and his supernice wife had moved to Kingman.
He is still alive, but havent heard from him in a couple years.
Randy, if you are lurking, send Gail and me an email! We miss you!

I ran into Norcal Randy at Griffith park many years ago, nice person when you meet him.  He was an interesting forum guest, but entertaining in his own way....  But, he was no Tex Redneck, the king of forum entertainment    RIP Tex

Well, he'd tell you that he wasn't right.  ;D We had a battle or two down in Camp Carlo. The last time I saw him was at the Dakota nationals. We spent a couple of hours drinking beer and having a good time around the camp fire.  ;D

Yes, yes, Randy!  That's the guy I'm thinking of.  He is a strange bird, but thats in no way a bad thing, wish we had more strange birds in the flock!   That being said, I think Moto Guzzi has more strange birds in its flock than any other viable brand!

Good to hear he is still above ground, if he's lurking out there, come home to the roost!

I miss Tex. Truly one of my biggest regrets was not meeting him in person.

And I still have the book he sent me on the philosophy of his life. RIP Tex, you are missed.

I met Nor-cal Randy at a few of the Washington campouts.  Other than a habit of kicking other peoples tires he was tolerable.
The guy from Chicago was Bad Chad.  I used to see him at the midwestern campouts and the Chicago breakfasts.
I think he is still around as I see his posts now and then.

If Bad Chad would just learn about GOOD cigars he'd be tolerable. ~; ~; ;)

I think that's "Italian John" from another forum I was on and  I think Screamday met him one time.  He moved to Greenville, SC and blew up another motorcycle board that we were members of.

Ya...John in Savannah, Italian John, Guzzi Fazool (or something like that). He was a character. Met him a couple of times and kept in touch off and on then he just disappeared.

I had a couple of (good) dealings with Randy about the Guzzi. Used to pm me.

A couple of tricks that I found really useful. One of them he requested that I keep to myself as he did not want the members of the forum to find out as to how HE found out about it. ;D

I used to just ignore his rants and look for the gems, and he did have a few.

And Tex, "In the trailer park the kids call me Sir"  ;D

No such luck RK. ;D

It was a particular repair that he did on his bike that went 'orribly wrong; as I was about to do the same repair it was just a word of advice of NOT what to do. The advice was headed and all went well. ;-T
