Thanks for those, I took a quick peak at them  I'll watch them tomorrow during our scheduled blizzard. I bought my first stereo in 1970 with my grammar school graduation money, I had enough cash for two albums. I bought Blind Faith and John Mayall's Empty Rooms. Soon after I picked up Turning Point. In 1976 I saw Mayall at the Ivanhoe theater in Chicago. I didn't see him again until 05. Before the show he was signing autographs in the lobby, I bought a DVD of his 70th birthday concert, meat him and he signed the package. He played a couple years later at the Chicago Blues Festival. He's a musician's musician, not many people know who he is or realize ye influence he had on modern music.

Saw him in concert in Cleveland after the Turning Point album: he put on a very good show. "Room to Move" still gets me moving.

Turning Point was a seminal album for me.  Must have played it 10K times, and still listen to it on a regular basis.  Some things just don't get old, kind of like Guzzis.

One of the best albums i,ve ever heard is Bare Wires.Mick Taylor from the Rolling Stones is on it.Mayall's band never sounded better before or after that record to me.I listen to it to this day even though I bought it in the 70s.

Mick Taylor played with Mayall before he played with the Stones. He replaced Peter Green, who replaced Eric Clapton.
The Mac of Fleetwood Mac is John McVie, bassist on the classic Bluesbreakers albums.

Mick Taylor could do that to a band (vis. Rolling Stones)

Always enjoyed Mayall. Still drag out "Blues From Laurel Canyon", after the BluesBreakers era that had a young Mick Taylor on it.
