V7 850 on Cherohala Skyway
« on: August 17, 2022, 04:49:36 PM »
We spent the last 3 days riding the 850 in SE Tennessee and northern Georgia. The bike performed well; had a great time. A bit underpowered for 2 up, but still happy about the recent purchase of the bike. Took mainly backroads from Tellico Plains, TN back home to Greater Cincinnati. Visited several good microbreweries in Georgia. Stayed in a cabin in Smitty's Lodge (formerly Hunt's Lodge) in Tellico Plains; nice place. Saw zero other Guzzi's on the trip.

Did you drink some Honey Wine or beer at the old Riders Hill? There's a bar there now along w/brewery.

Steve,

Didn't make it into Dahlonega. Next time I go there, I'll check out the place.
