It`s so meticulous the wheels are different colors. That`s really hard to do correctly ::)

Very creative guy and highly skilled craftsman. Thanks for posting. I'd like to see the numbers these things are capable of posting.

Later, when a Ferrari wasn't enough, he mated two 6-cylinder Honda CBX1000 motors together to make a V12............

I'm sure the gent who built that is an amazing craftsman, but what a waste. That engine belongs in either a Dino, Fiat Dino, or a Lancia Stratos and that's about it. It is far to heavy a lump to go inside a motorbike, and doesn't really make that much power (under 200hp at the crank for the 246). It is also ugly as sin.

If it's really a 206 it's aluminum, and could be worth something to an early Dino restoration.

Yep- attention to detail.

By the time he made it to the front wheel he was already working on stffing a V6 Ferrari engine into a Pontiac Fiero kit car of a Lamborghini.

If you wanna do a supercar V6 then you need to speak to Laverda

I think their endurance racer was built by a guy who designed Maserati engines

That's a tremendous machine.  Too bad Motus couldn't cook up a modern version of something like this.

"I'm sure the gent who built that is an amazing craftsman ...."

"Very creative guy and highly skilled craftsman ......"

"I can really appreciate the skill that went into this fabrication ...."

These are ALL the equivalent of "She's got a WONDERFUL personality!"  when you're trying to sell your buddy on a blind date with your girlfriend's ugly sister .....

It's polite but you gotta read between the lines.

Aaron

Did a check on another forum I frequent apparently the guy who designed the engine was one Giulio Alfieri.

If you check Wikipedia, he was quite a talent, pity he never did much more with motorcycles

That was my immediate take. Maybe, especially in one of those kit versions if they're still available.

Hi Jock,

Yes, I'm a long time fan of MAserati and Laverda, I just wanted to put the word out that Alfieri  was more than some guy.

Of course, the Dino design was by Vittorio Jano. There's a career to study!

Ok Of Topic I know  ~;

Thanks Aaron I'll look him up.

The Dino and the Stratos are probably my all time favorite designs bar none.

All these years and I've still to see anything better
