This mornings birding adventure at Bubbling Ponds Fish Hatchery...

The ol' Stanger fired right up after being "torpid" for the last few months.

The Ural was spotted in the parking lot of the local grocery store.

Old duffer driving it. Cool rig!

Was brushhogging in a pipe yard years ago and watched a killdeer perform her "broken" wing act repeatedly protecting her nest . I located the nest on foot , and gave her as much space as possible . She seemed to figure out after a few minutes that her young were safe from me and returned to the nest .
