Different seat for my '99 Bassa?
« on: December 05, 2021, 09:21:07 PM »
I'm coming to terms with the fact that the seat on my Bassa was custom made for a shorter rider than I, and that I'm older than I was when I bought the bike in '14.

I have fond memories of the bench seat on my Eldo, but I was forty years younger then also.

What is my best alternative at this stage in the game for something that will fit my body (6'1"/265) that will bolt up to the Bassa with minimal mods?

As always, thanks for your support.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Contact Bill Mayer Saddles. He is just a few hours north of you and will set you up. I have one on my 2001 Cal Special. It raised me 4 inches and made all the difference n the world.

Forget that last post. It looks like he is no longer with us. RIP.

He was a good guy.  There once was a Rule 34 image linked here, but the link was deleted, so I also deleted this link to the hilarious image. PM me if your curiosity exceeds your good judgment

I enjoy the image but it may not meet forum standards ;-)

He may have gotten hacked.

Or his photo collection is more ... interesting ... than mine

I'm not intent on custom build, I can find that. I'm hoping to get lucky with some common compatible stock or something.

Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace and CL. Sometimes a nice aftermarket seat pops up.
