V7 sport starter issues
« on: June 09, 2019, 11:26:58 PM »
Hi all, the bendix drive gear on my Bosch starter of my 73 sport is cactus, its been grinding away for a while now and I have chosen to ignore it, The starter has a remanufactured label attached to it and the bendix drive has no Bosch numbers or any identification so I assume its a cheap repo item installed at rebuild ,The ring gear has stood up well and will go again but my question what is the Bosch part number for that drive so I can start my search and are the front and rear bronze bushes available although I can make them if I have to. Every thing else seems to be readily available . Does someone have the correct part number for the drive gear or a supplier.  Thanks Bill

Bosch part no. 1006209088. Guzzi part no. 1473 0554.

Bushings are Bosch nos. 2000301023 (Guzzi part no. 1273 0514) and 1000301001 (Guzzi part no. 1273 0524)
