V35 Imola II 1987
« on: October 28, 2022, 08:28:25 PM »
Just picked up a nice example, in boxes tho. Seems there is some sort of Air preload adjustment on the fork caps. Any info on this greatly appreciated! Old Tractor site doesn't have manual or parts list for this last year of production. Unless I was looking in the wrong place! Any info on this greatly appreciated!
P.S. I  will be documenting the "re-assemble" on my YouTube channel if anyone is interested.
Cheers Bull

On the big twins, the air pressure inflated a rubber bladder, which restricted damping oil movement. More pressure = firmer damping. Likely the same on the small-blocks.

Look here for workshop manual that covers the early V35/50/65 models: https://guzzitek.org/f/atelier_f.htm#pb
I can send it if you can't find it.
Looking forward to see this on YT. This winter I have to replace the seals on mine.
