1400 Touring Horns

I need recommendations on easy to install  &  LOUD replacement horns   on a 2015 California  touring .

Check out Hella Super Tone & Sharp Tone - come as a pair with a relay, relatively cheap ( additional Guzzi content), about twice as large as originals, but the Cali is big enough to make them look small. Strong Tones are about the same size as the originals, cheaper, no relay, but  not as loud.

Hi,
I've been reading about the Hella Horns on the Guzzi site.  I have a Cali 1400 Tour with OEM horns (3" diameter).   The Hellas seem much larger, will they fit in the original, OEM location?

I've got a Denali Soundbomb two-piece on my V7ii. I like the loudness, but I'm not totally happy with how it fits on the bike. With that said, I think the single-piece version might fit on the 1400 in the space where the existing horns are.

Whatever horns you select make sure you use a relay and wire it as direct from the battery as you can with a decent size wire say #16.

The California II came with really loud Fiaam horns, their Freeway Blasters were as close as I could find.
Wired through the Guzzi OEM horn relay or horn button they are pathetic but direct from the battery through the relay they came with they are deafening. They must be mounted to be self draining, I first tried them sideways but they only lasted a couple of months.

The Fiaams don't look very good but they are hidden under the tank cheeks of my Griso
The Hella Supertones look the part if they are out in the open.

I've been using dual FIAMM's for many years, but my new favorite is the Denali Split Soundbomb:  Very loud and easy to mount because it unlinks the dual-tone horn and compressor into separate units much less awkward to fit than the all-in-one Soundbomb.  Like all serious horns, you need to fit a relay.

I would wire the horn relay coil in place of one of the horns (7) using whatever small wire you have.

This takes all the load off the horn button and small wiring to the controls.
The relay contact should be wired from a 20 Amp fuse somewhere using #16 wire through the relay contacts and to each horn with a #16 ground.
You might be able to power the relay contact from the green wire fuse 1 but I would also try it direct from the battery through a 20 Amp fuse bypassing the ignition switch.
