What a beautiful an clean piece of design, hard to believe its from 1963!! As much as I love 60's American cars he lightness of the Alfa is something to behold, I bet in the day they created quite the stir.

One of Giugiaro's best designs.  Whether full size as in this 2600 Sprint, or scaled down as in the GTV (several examples above), or scaled up as in the Gordon-Keeble (below), always a beautiful design.  I think he may have used it on a couple other cars as well.  Maseratis of the period, maybe?

Very nice video indeed!

I have been somewhat seriously thinking about an earlier Spyder recently.

This is my buddy's '69 GTV 1750. I've ridden in his, what a HOOT! That's a seriously intoxicating car.

Ah GTV's. I have owned several back in the days when you bought them for 3-5k$. I still have the very first one I bought in the early 80's.
Just finished having it repainted. What a great design. What a great car to drive. Everyone wants original. I preferred them with extra hp and sport suspensions. Downgrades the value. Upgrades the smile.

My first brand new car was a 1969 1750 Berlina. Wonderful car, although I would really have liked the GTV, just couldn’t afford it.

A-L-F-A     Always looking for another one

The happiest 2 days in an "Alfista"'s life?

The day he buys one and the day he sells it!

Seriously, though, I had a 1971 1950 Spider from 2007 to 2009 that I enjoyed tinkering with and driving almost daily. If I had room in the garage, I would still have it today.

this looks tasty,  a newly styled version of the 4C in the image of the Tipo 33 from the '60s.

I'm not sure I like it more than the original.

It is rather a bold statement...but I suspect it will grow on me with time...I can't see that much of it from the driver's seat anyway!

It's hard to beat the original - that's for sure! But on its own, it is a gorgeous car.

but there was only a handful of originals.  It was never a production car.  It will depend on whether they restyle the existing 4C
