Mayor,

You also contact some of the companies that manufacture oversize rotors and brake caliper mounts.

IIRC, SV Racing made mounts to fit 4 piston SV1000 calipers on SV650's and 650V-Strom's.

I suspect a lot of these companies contract out some of the components they sell to small job shops.

So all that fairing has nothing to do with properly directing cooling air over the cylinders and block?

I would start with the easy stuff first, adjust the valves and have you tried balancing the throttle bodies? Do you have Guzzidiag and have you reset the TPS?  I disconnected the stepper motor on my 07 Norge around 08 and never had a problem adjusting the idle.

If you can get me the measurements in proper units (*ahem millimeter/centimeter) then I could CAD up a file for you.

Have you looked on the local face book ads? I'm not much for wading through all the ads but have done it. If you think you've got the final part, have them make 2.

Have you done a google search?

Do you really need a cad drawing for a spacer? A sketch with the length, OD, ID and material should be sufficient. Are they going to fire up a machine for a simple spacer. I'm seriously considering a small lathe or lathe mill machine for the same reason.

Does it idle rough at any engine temperature?
Maybe it's not TB related.

I like bikes where i can reach up to the headlight and turn it off, because it’s a full moon and you’re on a vast expanse of interstate hiway with no one in sight in front or behind you…yeah baby!

I like hearing that you’re planning to install oem wheels on your CX, Chad.   I’m a huge borrani fan but they just don’t look right on a LeMans-kitted bike.

My neighbor is able and might be willing to make your spacers. He’s semi-retired now but is a bike guy.   If you can’t find someone closer,  let me know and I’ll do what I can to make the connection,

I rode 191 in late April a couple years ago. A bit of snow beside the road, in the shade, on northern slopes. Mid May should not be a problem.

My recollection is that Ikon bought the tooling from Koni when the latter ceased production. One of their series of shock shares the same number with a Koni model; I believe it is the same item. Maybe your oil leak doesn't really reflect a quality deficiency, but bad luck.

I found an account by a fellow who changed his Roamer's shocks to Ikons, enjoyed improved ride, but ultimately sold his bike:

This doesn't answer the question of whether a different brand of shock would have been even better. Which is your question.
