The article headline's use of "soon" contradicts the quote in the body from the CEO. “At some point in time, Harley Davidson will be all-electric,” the executive recently told Dezeen. “But that’s a long-term transition that needs to happen. It’s not something you do overnight.” I would be very surprised if a 100% electric HD brand exists sooner than 20 years from now.
Pretty dull subject, I wouldn't read the whole thing either.
I'm for a hydrogen fuel cell on a motorcycle.
Yes, very dull.Like reading about the hazards of contracting a terminal illness, when you already have one…
Anybody else find it interesting that, Harley's electric history somewhat counterintuitive to it's current stated direction ?ie..Harley develops the Livewire than sells it off.Harley purchases Alta (electric MX bike) then kills it off.Looks like a bit of a short circuit somewhere !
Who did Harley sell live wire to?What is Harley's one truck pony? They're touring bikes? They're all new redesigned 2018 softball lineup? Their liquid cooled all new Sportster lineup? The Pan America adventure bike?
The overwhelming majority of us can afford to adopt a casual disregard towards the spectre of electric only bikes. We need not be concerned, because by the time they get here en masse most of us will be dead.Let’s all just keep enjoying the party, before the cops come to shut it down.My memories are safely tucked away where no one can get them and when I leave, I’m taking them with me.
Let's all just cut to the chase....The bike below is....UGLY...HEAVY. ..and "silly expensive...."

Kballowe: Lovely bike, but I fear there is a tiny dust mote on the rear cylinder, 4th fin from the bottom. You need to be careful about things like that. This is a serious publication, after all.Ralph
