I tried a pair somewhat similar.
I think they are dangerous, if you take your hands out for any reason, say to clear your visor and have to make a panic move you are likely to crash, but that's just me  ???

I've Hippo Hands on my BMW /2 sidecar rig.  Work well and look the part for the 1960's

I'm with Roy-emergencies. Firstgear heated liners work best for me.

I've used them on snowmobiles, dirt bikes and my Buell. A framework inside is easy to fabricate and makes it easier to get hands in and out.  They work better than hand warmers because your whole hand stays warm.  They keep rain and snow off your hands and forearms too.

I've been using Oxford handlebar muffs for a few years now, first on my Le-Mans and now on my V65, coupled with heated grips they keep your hands warm and dry. Never had any problems.

I have these heated grips on my Tri***** and they work great. For the price they can't be beat. I find that I have them on even when it isn't all that cold. Cheap enough you can put them on all your bikes (well, some of us can, some ya'll have quantity problems...). The grips are long so make sure you have room on your bars.
