WSBK races
« on: February 17, 2015, 11:20:44 PM »
First road races in 2015 this year this weekend on BeIN ch. Sunday @ Australia.    Lot of the top racers on different brand bikes this year.  Different specs for the bikes this year too.  Should be interesting to watch as if it wasn't already.  ;D

Live 7:30pm eastern time Saturday night.   4:30pm Pacific time.

Are they EVO spec this year? That would make for good watching.

Troy Bayliss to stand in for injured Giugliano on the factory Ducati! Hope he's got something left. Great rider.

Just heard about that today, would be nice to seem he do well which he should since he knows that track so well. Would be interesting to see if he rides the entire 90 days that Giugliano is out.

Last season had some very good racing -- much more interesting than MotoGP..  Honda, MV Agusta and BMW should be more competitive this year, especially with Aprilia shifting its emphasis to MotoGP.  I'd like to see EBR and Suzuki move up, but I don't think either will.

What happened to Bimota?  I heard that they were planning a(nother) comeback in 2015, but I don't see them on the current line-up.  And Yamaha is still conspicuous by their absence....

Looks like EBR and Suzuki have been busy this off season. Both performed quite well at pre-season testing.

^^^  That's good news.  I am a Suzuki fan and I am pulling for them in WSBK and MotoGP... and of course, who doesn't like Erik Buell?  I got to ride the street version of the EBR bike at the AIMExpo this past Fall, and it is a very nice machine.

BeIN ch. is 392 on Dish TV and yes to get it you have to get other channels too for $10 a month extra.  My wife likes the other channels and I'm not cheap enough to pass on this opportunity.  You also get more coverage than on other networks.  ;-T

If you can go all year without watching WSBK races year round all over the world for a measly $10/mo. then you're not a real race fan.  :P

Yet another year since Speed TV left with no WSBK for me. I have UVerse and to receive beIN and also MavTV, I have to purchase the top tier package, way too much money and way too many channels I'l never ever watch. >:( ::(
You can buy style, but you have to build character.

Can't you switch to Dish TV?  In the long run it's cheaper than DirecTV.  :)
