LM3 turn signal switch
« on: September 25, 2020, 12:21:05 PM »
Running errands yesterday and discovered the turn signal switch was jammed to the right. But the signal wasn't flashing. I couldn't get it to return to the neutral position, so rode home.

Closer inspection revealed melted wires and switch. Evidently a wire had gotten pinched between the bar and switch and eventually shorted out. And of course the fuse blew, otherwise the signals would have been flashing - the turn signals on that bike are always hot.

Is there a source for those individual switches? Otherwise it's a whole new left side switch group. Hate to do that since these look brand new.

No source for individual switches that I'm aware, short of buying a complete used switch and harvesting what you need.

I figured that would be the case. Thanks, Charlie.
