I did get an answer from the seller, all he said was yes it's still for sale. Would have liked more info and an answer that sounded like there was motivation to sell but no.. he's named Dan.

I am in the area ... I have zero interest in this bike, but could go check it out in person if any of you guys are too far to make that "check it out" trip ... let me know if I could help.

And something does seem off ... a guy listed a Quota for $3200 and sold it in about a week ... so a nice 04 v11 seems like it should be more valuable than a Quota (and I'm not sure what the Quota actually sold for, 3200 was the listing price)
