MG windshield hardware question
« on: April 02, 2021, 06:45:55 PM »
My Stone came from the factory, I’m assuming, with the heavy full length “Barndoor” shield. It had the long lowers similar to the plexifairing 3 national cycle model. The hardware is designed by MG to accommodate this shield.
I would like to switch to the more conventional  TOMBSTONE style that comes on the Calvin so I can add my self fabricated HD fork wind deflectors as this combination works great together to produce a calm pocket of air for the rider.
Can anyone tell me if the other type of brackets or hardware will fit my Stone and does anyone have a set they would part with?
I don’t want the national cycle type that bolts to the handle bars as the fork mounted style are much more stable and secure.
Thanks guys.

The mounts designed for the Sport Shield turned upside down , although finding a set might be difficult .
