04 Breva 750 electrical issues
« on: May 29, 2021, 01:57:49 AM »
I went for a ride this morning...and I have noticed that my rev counter gone mad...
At idle...it shows normally 1100/1200 rpm but when I pull the throttle maybe to a 2500/3000rpm...it shows around 8000-10000rpm...and needle constantly jumping around
At the same time...my right side indicators are not working...
Left side indicators are OK...
Where to start??

I really don't have a clue but the tach and indicators are part of the dash.
Is there any other Dash function not working?
Try swapping indicator bulbs from left to right.
Is there anything about the Right indicators working like half speed or pilot light?
Check the dash ground, try moving the loom.
Does the tach or right indicators function differently at different steering angles?

Hopefully some other small block Breva owners will chime in.

I sorted it....
Took out connector from behind of dashboard...little compressed air...a bit of a wd-40 ...and now everything is OK...
Italian electric gremlins...
