Shipping Bike From Hawaii
« on: November 21, 2021, 09:30:49 AM »
Does anyone have any insight or helpful hints?  Going from main port on Kaui to Oakland, Matson Lines only does cars, have to use Freight Fwd company for Motorcycle.  Done the usual Google search and quotes, but thought I would ask the wisdom of this board for help.

Hi,

Try sending a pm to "Tom" on the board here.  I think he lives in Hawaii and could probably make a few recomendations.

I'm planning to ship my bike from Hilo to San Diego in mid-March. I'll be going with Pasha Hawaii. Check them out. www.pasha.com

Looking at their website, it looks like you could drop off at Nawiliwili. It doesn't look like the ship stops at Kauai, so that probably involves a barge to Honolulu first. You can only pick up on the mainland side at San Diego. The price estimate from Nawiliwili to San Diego is listed as $1125. (From Hilo, it's $659, but the ship stops at the port here).

Good luck. Hope this helps.
