Thanks to all
« on: April 19, 2021, 09:49:41 AM »
Dear Members of the Forum

I joined yesterday and 189 of you have sent messages (apparently) - very kind. I haven't a clue how to acknowledge these other than by this message, so 'Thank you all'.

If anyone could kindly advise the following I'd be most grateful -

1) How on visiting the site can one get straight to the Forum (list of topics) page

2) How do you reply to any one, or all of those who have posted a message

3) how do you attach a photograph?

Any / all information most gratefull received!

And thanks to all who have made suggestions re my original query - 'vanished' warning lights on the 750 Breva

Maybe the easiest way to accomplish this list is by a telephone call. Iíll send you a Pm if you have Email, with my phone number, and I can answer most of your questions. Be looking for my email I just sent.
Iím Danny. 👍

 Rivan is in Scotland Danny , if he doesn't have an international plan a call might be difficult .

  Someone who types faster than me sort this out , it really isn't difficult .

We should probably look to the Mayans for advice on how to deal with shortages of gasoline and TP . Those folks had chronic shortages of both.

Left column has the name of the member.  Click on that and a drop-down will allow you to send a Private Message.

Two ways.  Open a message or a reply dialogue box.  Just below will be a link for "Add image to post".

Or, store your image on some web hosting site and then post the viewing link for the image.

Skype...no need for an international calling plan...cheap worldwide calling, really cheap... = extreme Guzzi (and Scottish) content.   :thumb: :thumb:  I can make the joke since my paternal great grandpa came from Craigellachie, and my dad was a cheap bastard too...   :laugh: :laugh:

Rivan:

Can you give us your educated opinion on the issue of steel cut oats.  That is one of the most controversial topics on this forum
Accentuate the positive;
Eliminate the negative;
Latch on to the affirmative;
Don't mess with Mister In-Between.

A: Once you get to the forum page, save that as a favorite in your browser.

2) How do you reply to any one, or all of those who have posted a message
A: Near the top left, you see "home help donations profile, etc. Go to messages and you will see all your messages. Either click on the message, or scroll down to the message. From there, you do just as you do on the open forum. Reply, Quote and so on. I don't know if you can do a blanket reply. I **think** you would need to reply to each and every one if you desire to.

3) how do you attach a photograph?
A: Right below this box you are typing in, you will notice "Add image to post" Click on that and click on "browse from your computer" Once you have located the picture you want to add, click on the image, click  open and then click upload:

You will see the image data until you actually post. The picture will be there.

Any / all information most gratefull received!

And thanks to all who have made suggestions re my original query - 'vanished' warning lights on the 750 Breva

If you have not discovered this yet, you can usually click on a picture and it will open up a new tab. You then click on that pic and it will go to full size, which is often times larger than the pic on a reply. (This varies depending on how/what the image was uploaded with.
