Evergreen Triumph
« on: January 16, 2015, 07:21:20 PM »
Now 12 years old, my '03 Triumph Bonneville looks as good as ever. It can't touch my Vintage for all day travel, but with the flyscreen and bags it's as practical as a bike with rearsets can be!

Have an '08 T100 and had one of the first '01 Bonnevilles in the country, wish I had never sold it, although I think the '08 is a bit better of a bike.  Got an '06 Scrambler a couple of years back, hard to figure which one I like best.  Very good bikes.  Now into their 15th year of production, Triumph did a good job designing them.

That is one gorgeous piece of garbage.  Steer clear of this brand at all costs.

Just arrived in my garage, '99 Thunderbird Sport.  Carbs needing cleaned now, have only got 12 miles under my belt on the bike but it just tickles me giddy each time I look at it.  I start the repair today.  Hopefully go okay, never done this stuff before, or at least not in 30 years and only then on dirt machines.

Rode the Striple to work yesterday.  Not much of a looker even with my added pinstripes on it, but damn if it doesn't amaze me in some way with its glorious noise and ridiculous capability every time I ride it.  Here we are taking in some dirt roads in French Lick Indiana.

Been a huge Triumph fan ever since they came back to the states in 94 (or was it 95?).  Almost bought a fireball orange Speed Triple, but went with a BMW K75 bike instead, just to be safe.  Out of all the manufactures, Triumph does retro the best IMHO (with the possible exception of the new Indian).  I'm considering a new bike this year.  You can bet that Triumph is on my list of possibilities.

Nice lawnmower, I have one just like it! I also had a 2001 Triumph Thunderchicken for a few years-a very capable bike.

Ken

My in-laws got it for us but it has easily proven the greatest lawn asset I've ever had.  Totally electric, very quiet, ridiculously light, and as much or more torque than a gas mower.

What mower is that?
I could use a mower that folds up to take less floor space in the garage.

Convinced another guy from the board here to buy one also and he seemed very happy as well.  This thing actually makes mowing fun.
