new v9 and V7ii kits
« on: November 28, 2015, 10:52:44 AM »
Have seen the range o new v7ii and v9 today.

Some comments about the bikes.

Having had opportunity to sit on and examine the various models.

The new 850 engine looks great.

The 850 exhausts are double skinned like the cali 1400

The foot pegs on the v9 are much further forwards like the difference between the v7 and v7 racer but in other direction, more like cali riding position but not as nice.

I didn't like the Romer seat the two parts of the seat squeaked against each other and the front part you sit on flexed a lot. Of the two I prefered the Bobber.
V9 is more like hd750 , v7

Of the various Guzzi garage v7s. I like the stornello. the seat on the Stornello which looks very similar to the standard seat is particularly nice. The Guzz logo is embroidered and, the fit and finish is generally better and the padding is better.

All bikes apart from those with biturbos have same rear shocks which look like an improvement over the sachs shocks.
