Thanks sdcr, and yes, the Guzzi dealer, who also handles Benelli and Moto Morini, is in Prescott, AZ, about an hour or so away from where I live.  Also, ride report coming soon...Still a little "CHILLY" up here in northern AZ....

Chilly? You want chilly…it’s 5 degrees this morning in Philly

Congrats on the new ride.

Both of my local Guzzi dealers carry the Morinis as well.  Next time I get out that way I'll have to check out the bagger version.

I saw the X-cape version in Reno last year. That was a good looking bike. The Calibro reminds me a little of the Honda CMX Rebel (not a bad thing at all). I read the motor is a clone of the old 650 ninja? Should be solid with good preformance.

Congrats!

Thanks, Turin! :thumb: :boozing:

Yes, the motor is borrowed from the Kawasaki 650, and made a little larger at 693cc.

At 68 HP and 6-speeds, it should cruise comfortably at 70-75 mph on the highway, and that's just fine.

It's going to warm up to above zero windchill today. Lows have been hovering around -5 or so with -20 or so wind chill. I had to wear my coat..

During a lunch conversation last week with a long time DFW rider and resident I was told that Grapevine PD rode Guzzis back in the day.
Thanks Mike, I have emailed them so perhaps they may have some information.

I just got back from Atlanta. The high was 30 degrees. Snow at the airport. Some of the locals looked puzzled.
