The nice Gabor sister.
I loved green Acres. It was probably the number one TV series of all time for paranoids.
-
And one of Eva's two elder sisters is still alive, sort of. Zsa Zsa was 99 last week.

Must correct this ........ "Oleeva, don'r shoost the deer."

Sure, Eva was the "sweet one" but Zsa Zsa's the Zsit and more interesting for it by far.
I'd have loved to crack a pint o' trouble with her in the day!
Todd.

She could cook up one hell of a stack of hotch cakes!

Remember all the gags, actually sophisticated, on that rube show? It was wonderful.

In addition to her stunning looks, Eva was a very intelligent woman. I was a huge fan of Green Acres and the absurd, tongue in cheek lines that the writers fed to all of the characters.
After Eva passed away, there was an online auction of many of her household goods that was done by a Beverly Hills auction house. I wound up buying a Venetian hand blown glass clown that is actually a wine decanter. I've never put wine (or anything) in it; I bought it primarily because it was something that she owned and because it's an unusual piece of glassware. Every time I walk in or through our living room and see it sitting on the mantle above the fireplace, it never fails to make me smile because I always think of Eva and all of the other characters from Green Acres.

I've never figured out what a "schtick looker" was, but do know what "Oliver is up a pole" means.

Guzzistajohn!
The second one was the "Namecakes" which broke the fourth wall in a wonderfully surreal way! I love it!
-
Oliver used her "electrisical hotchcake" batter to make a head gasket for the truck.
-
Yes he did. Those things were useful.
